I probably don’t have any flaws

True, I eat trash — it’s my hobby. I guess that’s what my nose is for, sniffing out garbage. At least, that’s how I see it. Otherwise, I’m super well-behaved and sweet. Maybe I don’t always come right away when called, but do you know any teenager who does everything immediately? Anyway, I’m trying. I really like my new life and my new family. I think everything’s gonna be good now. Keep your fingers crossed.

Many guardians have ideas about how a dog should behave and tons of expectations. Often, they mostly see their dog’s problem behaviors and overlook the good stuff.

It’s worth trying to change your perspective and see the world through your dog’s eyes — what’s hard for them, what they need. It’s easier then to notice how hard they try to fit into human life.
