Stand your ground calmly

With age comes the wisdom to avoid pointless fights—but also to calmly stand your ground. Wishing you the same.

Usually, people think about adopting a puppy or at least a young dog. Rarely do they consider that raising a young dog means tons of responsibility and lots of time.

Plus, you never really know how that dog will turn out as an adult. Even from a reputable breeder, temperament and character aren’t guaranteed.

Adopting an older dog, especially from a place where the dog knows temporary caretakers or volunteers, usually gives you way more certainty about the personality you’re bringing home.
