Disconnected Lives

Overview

Disconnected Lives is a research project on dogs’ social lives in urban environments. It examines how city life may create the appearance of social contact while, at the same time, restricting the formation of stable relationships between dogs. More broadly, the project looks at the social consequences of living in conditions shaped by proximity, management, and limited freedom of interaction.
